Big Brother Big Sister Mentoring

What is it? Self-referral free mentorship programs for youth. These programs promote community involvement, healthy attachment, and positive role models. Some of their programs include in school mentoring and explorations. For more information Click Here

Kids Up Front Foundation What is it? Kids Up Front, provides the opportunity for kids have the opportunity to experience a variety of sports, recreation and arts & cultural events that otherwise would not be possible. How can I apply? KidSport Langley What is it? KidSport Langley strives to remove the financial obstacles that prevent some children in our community from participating in local sport. Through KidSport Langley, individual grants of up to $200 are awarded to children (18 yrs and under) who are residents of either the City of Langley or the Township of Langley whose families cannot afford sport registration fees and would otherwise not be able to participate in the sport of their choosing.

Canadian Tire Jumpstart What is it? Who is eligible? Canadian Tire Jumpstart is a national charitable program that helps financially disadvantaged kids aged 4 to 18 years old participate in organized sport and recreation by providing a subsidy of up to $150.00 towards the cost of registration, equipment and/or transportation.
How can I apply? As a Local Chapter Representative of Jumpstart, the City of Langley is able to facilitate the application and approval process through our Recreation, Culture and Community Services Department. To apply call 604.514.2865
