All our staff and volunteers have completed the necessary criminal record checks and training to facilitate the program in a safe and healthy way. Each Tuesday there will also be a talk about such topics as friendship, team building, identify and possibly even some guest speakers. We hope to see your child out to the next nights alive!
LSS Course Planning/Open House: For parents of our Grade 7 and 8 students, there an open house and course planning event at Langley Secondary coming up. Please click here for all the details.
CHILL Program Fundraiser: CHILL is a Burton Snowboard sponsored snowboard and leadership program for vulnerable youth. HDSMS has been really lucky to have 4 spots within this program this winter. It is meant to build stronger attachment through relationships with some of our most vulnerable students and great educators. Thank you to Madison and Aly for taking on this challenge this year and giving our 4 kids such a great opportunity! Each year CHILL does a fundraiser. It looks different every year. But is always a really fun time that allows those who would like to contribute the opportunity to participate with family and friends!
Please share this link widely! My hope is that we are able to participate next year and expand our numbers if they raise enough over this fundraiser!

EdCamp35: This year, Langley will be having its third annual EdCamp35 on Saturday April 16th and we are excited to host it here at HD Stafford Middle School. This is an amazing day where passionate educators, parents, students and others come and share ideas, questions and have powerful conversations about student learning. This is a free event (and include a food truck lunch) to be sure to head to www.edcamp35.com to register.
