This Week at HDSMS – Nov. 3, 2019

November 3, 2019

Week of November 3, 2019

Looking back – I think the only word for last week is “Exhausting”.  From the devastating news about a former Skyhawk to exhilaration of the Halloween Dance – the roller coaster of emotions can take your breath away.  However,  while we mourned, we also found solace in our routines: going to class, continuing with our extracurricular activities, welcoming parents to our Parent-Teacher Conferences, dressing up for Hallowe’en, and so on.  It was important that we had a degree of normalcy in our routines, even if our hearts and heads knew that these were not normal times.

We have a “short” week ahead that is packed full. From Remembrance Day Assemblies to visits from LSS, and we are specifically excited to have a number of our Skyhawks Staff presenting at the AMLE Conference in Nashville TN this week as well!

Finally, if you would like to assist the Gee family with their funeral costs, please see the link to a GoFundMe page, set up by a friend of the family: https://www.gofundme.com/f/in-memory-of-seamus-gee?utm_medium=email&utm_source=customer&utm_campaign=p_na+share-sheet&pc_code=em_db_co2876_v1&rcid=4c7d3bc2e4c04bf5a87647fe42bfb0ae
