Hopefully everyone had a great weekend and enjoyed some of the sunshine we had. We have another busy week coming up so please be sure to read the information below.

Information To Share:

Collaboration Afternoon: A reminder that this Friday, April 7th is a District Collaboration Afternoon for Staff. Students will be dismissed at 1:34pm.

EdCamp35: Our fourth annual EdCamp35 is coming up on April 29th. It is being hosted by HD Stafford Middle School and is a great “unconference.” It brings together all stakeholders for a great day of learning and connecting. It is free and includes lunch. Register at www.edcamp35.com

Douglas Park Elementary is Looking for Leaders: Douglas Park Spring Explorations are around the corner.  We are looking for student or parent leaders in the explorations programs. If you have a skill you want to teach elementary students or would like to assist in our explorations programs currently running, please connect with Mr.Hendy in the community room or email Bhendy@sd35.bc.ca

Red Cross Babysitting Course: So you want to be a babysitter? Or, your parents want you to take this course so they feel confident leaving you at home alone? Babysitting with First Aid Hero emphasizes learning through real life scenarios. information covered includes: Exploring the business of babysitting, creating safe environments, safely caring for ages 0-12, and first aid skills. Cost is $60.00 plus GST.  Click here to register.

PAC Update: Thank you to all the students who came out to the Neon Dance. It was a great evening! Thank you to all the volunteers as well, we couldn’t have done it without your help!

Spring Fundraiser – Please keep an eye out for our Spring Fundraiser with DFS Canada. The catalogue will be going home with students next week. We are offering online and paper order forms.

The PAC earns 40% of all sales, so please take a look at the catalogue when your student(s) bring it home.  More info to come on deadlines and deliveries.
